Air Routing подписал
новое соглашение с аэропортом Алматы

Officials from Kazakstan's Almaty Airport visited Air Routing International in January
to observe first-hand the internal operations of a busy corporate flight service
organization. Their visit resulted in a signed agreement to accept the Royal Bank of
Canada Jet CardT and offer contract fuel.
Air Routing initially established a business relationship with Almaty Airport in 1992.
In the former agreement, Almaty provided our clients credit for fuel and ground services.
However, this most recent deal takes a more progressive step by allowing payment through
the Jet Card and granting contract fuel prices.

Dressed in his gift of Kazakstan's traditional costume,
Richard Wilkens, executive vice president of AR Group, greets Malik D. Dosymbekov,
executive director of Almaty Airport, Kazakstan.

Malik D. Dosymbekov, executive director, and Igor D. Drachev, deputy executive director
of operation, spent several days at Air Routing's Houston headquarters, learning more
about the business aviation industry and exchanging ideas. They now have a better
understanding of our industry's magnitude. "I will take back this realization to my
government and become more insistent with them to work with the business aviation
community," Malik says.
He also revealed that although he had a basic awareness of corporate aviation, he did
not comprehend how precise flight services organizations, such as Air Routing, had to
operate. "I was surprised how detailed your flight control staff must get,"
Malik remarks. "You even make sure that clients know who can take care of them if
they become sick while in another country!"
On the future of Almaty Airport, he emphatically believes that the outlook points
towards growth. "I am sure of the increase in business because our land is so rich in
oil and offers many investment opportunities," Malik explains. "Traffic will
certainly expand for both corporate and commercial aviation."
Currently, Almaty Airport has several improvement projects underway. The reconstruction
of the present runway is scheduled to be carried out in March and another VIP terminal
will be built. The reconstruction of the present passenger terminal will start soon. Nine
international airlines now operate to Almaty and officials recently negotiated a contract
with Air France and several other international airlines.
To elevate the understanding of the corporate aviation industry, Air Routing and other
members of the AR Group, actively host countless airport officials, ground service
providers and fuel suppliers from around the world. Many times this means helping to
promote their presence in such organizations as the NBAA and participating in industry
events throughout the year.
